Compassion and Humility of A Teacher: Inspiring Examples of Teachers’ Noble Character
It is written in the biography of Qutb al-Alam Hazrat Maulana Rashid Ahmad Gangohi (may Allah have mercy on him) that on one occasion, he was teaching in the courtyard of the madrasa when it started to rain.
The students quickly took their books and went inside, while Hazrat picked up each student’s shoes and placed them in a safe, dry area.
This compassion and humility were the reason why students (Talabaye Kiram) of earlier times were ready to sacrifice themselves for their teachers.
