Kindness and Goodwill Toward Students: Prophetic Teachings on Islamic Education

The Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said, “People are under your care, and they will come from distant lands to seek knowledge of the religion from you. Treat them well according to my counsel” (Tirmidhi).

This hadith clearly shows that the Prophet (peace be upon him) advised kindness and good treatment toward anyone who comes to seek religious knowledge, even if they have not yet begun their studies. After student starts acquiring knowledge, the bond and privileges will increase further (Tuhfat al-Ulama).
