Islamic Method of Advice for Teachers: The Teacher’s Wisdom in Guiding Students

Advised that if a student needs correction for inappropriate behavior, and the act is such that the student would feel embarrassed if mentioned publicly, the teacher should offer the advice privately.

Later, the teacher may share the advice with all students but without naming the specific student.

The teacher should keep their heart pure and free from resentment, as harboring ill feelings darkens the heart.

The teacher should remember that, these students are like crops that will benefit the teacher in the Hereafter. Often, it is due to students that Allah grants teacher exceptional insights and ideas.
